1.Connect devices

Ensure that both the iPad and the target device (such as a TV) are connected to the same Wi Fi network.

Turn on the AirPlay receive feature on the target device (if the device supports this feature and is already turned on, this step can be omitted).

2.Turn on AirPlay function

Open through the control center:

Slide up from the bottom of the iPad screen (slide down from the top right corner of the screen for full screen iPad) to open the Control Center.

In the Control Center, locate and click on the “Screen Mirrors” or “AirPlay” icon (the specific name may vary depending on the iOS version).

In the pop-up window, select the target device you want to cast the screen on. If the target device supports AirPlay and is connected to the same Wi Fi network, it should appear in the list.

Open through the application:

Open the application you want to screen (such as video, music, or photo applications).

In the application, locate and click on the share button or AirPlay icon (usually located at the bottom or top of the screen).

In the pop-up window, select the target device you want to cast the screen on.

3.Start screen casting

After selecting the target device, the screen content or application content of the iPad will start to be projected onto the device.

At this point, you can continue operating other applications on the iPad, and the projected content will play independently on the target device.

4.Precautions

Ensure that the iOS version supports AirPlay functionality (supported by iOS 4.3 and above).

If you cannot see the AirPlay icon in the Control Center, make sure the Control Center is fully expanded and check if the iOS version supports this feature.

During the screen casting process, factors such as network conditions and device performance may affect the quality of the screen casting, leading to a decrease or interruption. Therefore, it is recommended to use AirPlay function when the network is in good condition.

Overall, AirPlay provides iPad users with a convenient way to project content, allowing them to enjoy videos, music, and other content on a larger screen. Meanwhile, through simple settings and operations, users can easily achieve screen mirroring function and enjoy a richer entertainment experience.
