Apple products using AirPlay for wireless screen projection is obviously the most convenient
For iPhone users, there are two common ways to present the screen:
- Airplay
Using AirPlay for wireless projection is obviously the most convenient. To ensure that the phone and the monitor are on the same WiFi, we just need to call up the iPhone’s Control center, click the AirPlay option, and then select the device to connect to complete the screen projection.
Airplay is a wireless technology unique to Apple devices. Through WiFi connection, we can project pictures, texts, videos and other information from iPhone, iPad and other iOS devices to devices that support AirPlay through wireless transmission. Since Apple devices do not allow third-party programs to obtain their screen images, many domestic wireless projection boxes are implemented by cracking the AirPlay protocol.
If you’re an iPhone, swipe your finger up at the bottom of the screen to call up the Details panel in the Control Center. Then click “Screen Image” → Select Device → Present the screen. Apple’s ipad also uses a ‘screen image,’ but the control center is located either at the bottom of the screen or in the upper right corner.
It is worth reminding that the Apple device and the screen projector must be in the same LAN (same network segment) and cannot be used across network segments or vlans. Therefore, it is difficult for enterprises with responsible network architecture to use the AirPlay screen image.
- Wired connection
If you need a more stable projection, try wired projection. However, compared with wireless projection screen, the cost of wired projection screen may be higher, need to buy a separate transfer cable.
