How to AirPlay to a TV?｜BJCast

To wirelessly transfer content from a device (such as an iPhone, iPad, or Mac) to a TV via AirPlay, you can follow these steps. These steps are based on Apple’s official guidance and are applicable to most devices that support AirPlay.

Ensure device compatibility

Firstly, please ensure that both your device and TV support AirPlay. AirPlay is a technology from Apple that is typically integrated into Apple TVs and certain smart TVs. If your TV does not support AirPlay, you may need to purchase an Apple TV or a smart TV that supports AirPlay.

Connect to the same Wi Fi network

Connect your device and TV to the same Wi Fi network. This is a basic requirement for AirPlay to work, as devices need to communicate through Wi Fi.

Enable AirPlay function

For iPhone or iPad:

Open Control Center:

For iPhone X and later versions, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen.

For iPhone 8 and earlier versions, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

Click on screen mirroring or AirPlay:

In the Control Center, you may see a button called “Screen Mirroring” or “AirPlay” (on some devices, AirPlay may appear as a speaker icon).

Click this button and it will start searching for available AirPlay devices.

Select TV device:

In the device list that appears, select your TV device. If the TV supports AirPlay and is properly connected to the Wi Fi network, it should appear in the list.

Start screen casting:

After selecting a TV device, the content of your iPhone or iPad screen will be immediately projected onto the TV. At this point, you can operate any application through your phone, and its screen will be synchronized and displayed on the TV.
