1.Preconditions

Device support: Ensure that both the phone and TV support screen mirroring function. Smart TVs usually have built-in screen mirroring function, while some non smart TVs may require external devices such as screen mirroring boxes to achieve it.

Network connection: The phone and TV need to be connected to the same WiFi network to ensure the normal use of screen mirroring function.

2.Screen casting steps

Turn on the TV screen mirroring function

On the main interface of the smart TV, find and click on relevant options such as “screen mirroring” or “wireless screen mirroring”.

Some TVs may require entering the “Settings” menu, then finding “Network and Connections” or similar options to enable screen mirroring.

Turn on the screen mirroring function on your phone

Open the phone and swipe down from the top of the screen (or up from the bottom depending on the phone model) to open the shortcut menu.

In the shortcut menu, find and click on related options such as “screen mirroring” or “wireless screen mirroring”.

The phone will automatically search for available screen mirroring devices, find and click on the name of the TV to connect.

Start screen casting

After successful connection, the content on the phone (such as videos, pictures, files, etc.) will be projected onto the TV for display.

At this point, you can open the desired screen casting application on your phone, such as a video player, image browser, etc., and play the content. These contents will be projected onto the TV in real-time.
