How to project Macbook to TV
1. Using AirPlay (for AirPlay 2-compatible TVs)
- Ensure Wi-Fi Connectivity: Both your Mac and your TV must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Enable AirPlay on Your TV:
- Go to your TV’s settings menu.
- Look for options like “AirPlay,” “Apple AirPlay,” or “Screen Mirroring.”
- Enable AirPlay.
- Mirror Your Mac’s Screen:
- Click the AirPlay icon in the menu bar of your Mac.
- Select your TV from the list of available devices.
- Enter the code displayed on your TV screen, if prompted.
2. Using an HDMI Cable
- Connect the Cable: Connect one end of an HDMI cable to your Mac’s HDMI port (or use an appropriate adapter if your Mac doesn’t have an HDMI port).Connect the other end to an available HDMI input on your TV.
- Select Input Source: Use your TV’s remote to select the HDMI input that corresponds to the connected cable.
