The method of projecting a mobile phone screen onto a TV|BJCast
There are multiple ways to connect a mobile phone to a TV screen, and the following are four methods for screen mirroring:
-
Wireless screen mirroring:
- Ensure that your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi Fi network.
- Turn on the “wireless screen mirroring” function on the TV (usually found in “My Apps” or “Settings”).
- On the phone, turn on the “screen mirroring”, “AirPlay”, or “wireless screen mirroring” functions (specific names may vary depending on the phone brand and system version).
- Search for available screen mirroring devices on your phone, select your TV device name to connect.
- Once the connection is successful, the phone screen will be projected onto the TV.
This method is suitable for modern smart TVs and smartphones that support wireless screen mirroring functionality.
-
HDMI wired screen mirroring:
- Connect the phone to the TV using an HDMI cable. It should be noted that not all phones support direct connection to the TV via HDMI cable, and Apple phones require the use of corresponding adapters.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the TV and the other end to the phone (or adapter).
- Turn on the TV and phone, use the TV remote control to select the corresponding “HDMI” signal source.
- The mobile phone screen will be projected onto the TV.
This method requires both the phone and TV to support HDMI output, and the corresponding adapter needs to be used (if the phone does not support direct connection through an HDMI cable).
-
Using a dedicated screen casting application:
- Download and install the same screen mirroring application (such as BJCast) on both your phone and TV.
- Open the application and follow the prompts to set up the connection.
- Once the connection is successful, the phone screen can be projected onto the TV through the application.
This method requires both the phone and TV to support the corresponding screen casting application, and installation and settings need to be done on both devices.
-
Using the Bijie Multimedia Collaboration System:
- Connect the Bijie Multimedia Collaboration System to the TV using an HDMI high-definition cable, and then turn on the screen mirroring function on the phone.
- Ensure that the device and phone are connected to the same network, pair them according to the instructions, and then you can achieve screen mirroring.
This method can achieve screen mirroring without a network and compensate for the lack of wireless screen mirroring support in older TVs. However, it should be noted that additional wireless screen projector devices need to be purchased.
The above methods are for reference only, and the specific operation may vary depending on the device and system version. Please choose the appropriate method for operation based on your own equipment and needs.
