The method of projecting screen TV on iPhone｜BJCast

Use AirPlay (screen mirroring) function

• • Ensure that your iPhone and smart TV are connected to the same Wi Fi network.
  • Smart TVs need to support AirPlay functionality (some smart TVs may require software updates or installation of specific applications to support it).

Operation steps:

• • On an iPhone, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center.
  • In the Control Center, locate and click on the AirPlay icon (which may appear as “screen mirroring” on iOS 11 and above systems).
  • The phone will automatically search for nearby AirPlay devices, find the smart TV, and click on the name of the smart TV to connect.
  • After successful connection, the content on the phone screen will be projected onto the TV in real-time.

Using third-party screen casting software

• • Apple phones and smart TVs need to be connected to the same Wi Fi network.
  • Download and install third-party software that supports screen casting (such as BJCast) in the smart TV app store.

Operation steps:

• • Open the installed screen mirroring software on the TV and follow the software prompts to set it up.
  • Open the corresponding screen mirroring software on your phone (some software may require downloading a mobile client), or use the built-in screen mirroring function on your phone (such as AirPlay) to search for TV devices.
  • After searching for the TV on your phone, click on the link to start screen mirroring.

Use the screen mirroring function of the video app

• • Apple phones and smart TVs need to be connected to the same Wi Fi network.
  • Download and install video apps that support screen mirroring on Apple phones (such as Tencent, iQiyi, Youku, etc.).

Operation steps:

• • Select the video you want to watch in the video app and click play.
  • On the video playback page, find and click the screen mirroring button (usually displayed as the “TV” icon).
  • The phone will automatically search for nearby screen mirroring devices. After finding the smart TV, click on the name of the smart TV to connect.
  • After successful connection, the video will be projected from the phone to the TV for playback.

Use HDMI adapter cable

Although this method is not wireless screen mirroring, in situations where there is no Wi Fi network or smart TV does not support wireless screen mirroring, an HDMI adapter cable can be used to connect the phone and TV to achieve screen mirroring.

Required equipment:

• • An HDMI to Lightning adapter cable (suitable for iPhone).
  • An HDMI to HDMI cable (if the TV does not have an HDMI interface, an additional adapter may be required).

Operation steps:

• • Connect the HDMI to Lightning adapter cable to the HDMI ports of your phone and TV.
  • Select the correct HDMI input source based on the TV settings.
  • The content on the phone screen will be projected onto the TV through an HDMI adapter cable.

Through the above methods, Apple phones can easily achieve screen mirroring with TVs and enjoy the viewing experience brought by large screens.
