There are two main methods for projecting a Windows 7 computer screen to a TV: wired projection and wireless projection

Wired connection method:

  1. Connect the HDMI port of the Win7 computer and TV using an HDMI cable.
  2. Press the Windows+P key on the Win7 computer, open the projection settings, select copy, and enter projection mode.
  3. Open the signal source settings on the TV and change the signal source to the corresponding HDMI signal source.

Wireless connection method:

  1. Connect the Win7 computer and television to the same network environment.
  2. Open the screen mirroring software on the TV (such as Bijie screen mirroring) and record the corresponding device number.
  3. Open the same screen casting software on a Win7 computer, select the TV casting function on the computer, search for the TV and complete the connection to achieve screen casting.

Additionally, screen mirroring can be achieved by configuring the media streaming feature of Windows 7. The specific steps are as follows:

  1. Click on “Start” in the bottom left corner to enter the “Control Panel”.
  2. Click on “Network and Internet”, then enter the “Network and Sharing Center”.
  3. Click on “Public Network” in the network activity and select “Home Network”.
  4. Click on “Media Stream” in the upper left corner, check the corresponding option, and you will be able to activate the screen mirroring function.

Please note that different TV and computer brands and models may have different settings options and menus, and the specific operating steps may vary slightly. If you encounter any problems during operation, it is recommended to refer to the computer and TV manuals or contact relevant technical support for assistance. At the same time, ensure that the HDMI cable or other connection cables used are of good quality to ensure the stability and image quality of the screen projection.
