Three screen mirroring methods for Xiaomi laptops｜BJCast

Method 1: Use wireless screen mirroring function

1. Ensure that both the TV and laptop are connected to the same wireless network.
2. Turn on the TV, click on “My Apps” on the screen to enter the application list interface, then click on “Wireless Screen mirroring” to open the wireless screen mirroring application, select “Quick Screen mirroring”, and enter the waiting connection interface.
3. On a Xiaomi laptop, press the F6 key to activate the projection function. On the projection function interface, click “Connect to Wireless Monitor”.
4. The computer will search for all wireless displays and audio devices on the same network. In the list, you can see Xiaomi TVs waiting to connect. Click on Xiaomi TV to connect.
5. Wait for the connection to be successful. After the connection is successful, the computer screen will be projected onto the Xiaomi TV.

Method 2: Connect using an HDMI cable

1. Connect the Xiaomi laptop to the TV using an HDMI cable.
2. Open “Display Settings” on the laptop, select “Multiple Displays”, and choose the expansion mode, so that the desktop of the laptop will expand to the TV.

Method 3: Use third-party screen casting software

1. Install the same screen casting software, such as BJCast, on both the laptop and TV, and connect to the same wireless network.
2. Select ‘Discover Device’ in the software, find and connect to Xiaomi TV.
