Use AirPlay with Apple devices

AirPlay is a fantastic feature that allows Apple device users to wirelessly stream or mirror content to compatible displays and speakers. Here’s a breakdown of how to use it:

Understanding AirPlay:

  • Streaming:
    • This involves sending audio and video content from your Apple device to another device, like an Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.
  • Mirroring:
    • This displays your Apple device’s screen directly onto another display, showing everything you see on your device.

What You’ll Need:

  • An Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Mac).
  • A compatible receiving device (Apple TV, AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV, HomePod, or a Mac set up as an AirPlay receiver).
  • A Wi-Fi network (both devices must be on the same network).
