Wireless Projection – How does a computer use WiFi Display to wirelessly project to a TV?

Wireless screen mirroring is a convenient and practical technology that allows us to wirelessly transmit content from computer screens to televisions, achieving a better viewing and sharing experience. To achieve wireless screen mirroring between computers and televisions, we can use WiFi display technology. Below, we will answer how to wirelessly connect a computer to a TV from multiple perspectives.

1. Confirm device compatibility
Firstly, we need to ensure that both the computer and TV support WiFi Display functionality. Most new smart computers and televisions should have this feature, but some older or lower end devices may not support it. You can find relevant information in the settings interface or instruction manual of your computer and TV.

2. Connect the TV and computer to the same WiFi network
For wireless screen mirroring, the computer and TV need to be connected to the same WiFi network. Please ensure that both your computer and TV are connected to the same network for further operations.

3. Turn on the wireless projection function of the computer
Open the screen projection function with the shortcut key win+K, and click to connect the display. Search for the name of the device that requires screen mirroring to connect, and once successful, the screen mirroring can be completed.

Note

1. Please ensure that both your phone and TV are connected to a stable WiFi network to avoid lagging and disconnection issues during the screen projection process.

During the screen casting process, please try to avoid turning off the phone screen or switching to other applications to maintain the stability of the screen casting.

3. If there are any problems during the screen casting process, you can try reconnecting or restarting your phone and TV to troubleshoot possible issues.
